The Homemakers Dilemma: A follow up

Some of you may have linked from my original post to The Girl Talk site where Carolyn Mahaney blogged about homemaking and what the bible has to say. She has since written two follow up posts that I will link here for you. As you guessed I may say, they are excellent. Such great reminders of the expectations God has for us as wives and mothers and women! I can't even fathom having wisdom as she does. God has blessed this woman with a mind and heart to make all things bring Him glory. Is it fair to even ask for half of that? Please read and enjoy. They are short little posts.

A Giveaway

This is a rather funny thing to do as I have a blog that is not followed by many. Despite that, I am still doing a giveaway. Let me preface this first.
A while back I joined an online community called MomSelect. I recommend checking it out. They send you products for free to try and then a week or two later you fill out a very simple short online survey reviewing the product. It is a great way to snag some free products for your family and household. I love it.
So recently I was invited to try All 3x concentrated detergent. I said yes please! Who couldn't use free detergent? So they sent me two bottles of detergent, 96 loads each! In addition to my detergent they sent me four coupons to give away on my blog for a full free bottle of detergent! So here you go. Just leave a comment in the comment section. Make sure you include your name and e-mail address so I can contact the winner. The giveaway will end Sunday the 21st. The four winners will be randomly selected and announced on Monday the 22nd.

Dilemma or Duty?

I was perusing all my usual hot spots for bible enriched truth from the wise Titus 2 women I have found via modern technology, the internet, and settled in for a nice reminder from a book I read a few years ago.
Carrolyn Mahaney, the author of the book, Feminine Appeal ( I highly recommend it) has a blog with her daughters where they post about true biblical womanhood. Anyway, a question was asked about a post that was written by Carrolyn recently about a new book that is out called Getting to 50/50.
I was so refreshed by the answer to the ever nagging dilemma that the feminist movement has created in the minds of christian women across America about equality of household chores. If you want to get a slap upside your head, read this book. But for just a little dose of reality, click here to read the post. Enjoy! And don't say I didn't warn you.....
